Re: Your Top 5
Kinda messed up to turn around and diss the people who tried bring you in the game..but that always happens. People feel like they're being ripped off or not getting enough attention/promotion on a label..but what you expect a from a few young dudes trying to run a record label full of artist plus dealing with their own music career at the same time.

Exactly. The dude only makes himself look bad at the end. He got a song were he dissing them and he says "and yall know Wish Bone can't rap" LOL!!
Re: Your Top 5
lol oh yea I heard that on youtube LOL....but soulja boy did have a few good verses when he featured in their songs.
Re: Your Top 5
Yeah he was cold on that one track "Low down". Krayzie overshadowed his verse though. LOL.

I haven't heard necro's name or this song mentioned in a looooong time. Here's the video. One of the dope heads is supposedly necro's uncle (uncle howie). I think necro directed the video.

Re: Your Top 5
Lately I've been listening to:
Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - Complete Duets (bad ass.. check out the Cellarful Of Motown set if you haven't yet)
Marvin Gaye - That's The Way Love Is (picked this up on vinyl, Marvin was dealing with a lot when this came out)
Miles Davis - In A Silent Way sessions (prelude to Bitches Brew, the 3 disc set has a lot of good material)
Frank Zappa - Chunga's Revenge (the first couple songs sound like they're from Hot Rats)
Otis Redding - Ole Man Trouble (from Dock Of The Bay, great guitar work by Steve Cropper)
A lot of people think that Frank Zappa was some weird hippie, but the truth is he had more in common with the early R&B scene in So. Cal than anything hippie related (he didn't do drugs, just drank coffee and smoked a lot of cigarettes). FZ bought PAL studios in Rancho Cucamonga and produced a string of oldies, including "Memories Of El Monte" by The Penguins. He also did some work with Art Laboe at KRLA (and got ripped off, which was common in those days). After that, he played a lot of shows in Pomona and along Route 66 (including The Shack in Fontana). There's a lot of music history in this area.
Tammi Terrell was bad ass. Here's a couple clips:

Good picks. Terrell was definitely a bad ass. Her and lyn collins are two of favorite soul sistas. Here are some clips of collins.
