Could Communism Work? Empty Could Communism Work?

Communism's purest form as portrayed by Karl Marx was supposed to do good. I am pretty sure you guys all know what the real main concept of communism is. Obviously this great Gubbament has manipulated the portrayal of communism to be evil, but is it really? Obviously the power gets to the heads of those dictating, but what if the right man was appointed dictator? Is it possible?

Could Communism Work? Empty Re: Could Communism Work?

On a national level, absolutely, positively, not. It is impossible. It has been proven both in theory and in practice.

I always seen communists and socialists try to claim that "real communism" was never tried therefore we cannot really say it didn't work because of the epic failure of various communist death pits that were set up around the world throughout the 20th century. The problem is that "real" communism was tried but it failed so hard that it looked nothing like expected so they claim it was never really tried.

Communism, pure socialism works on a small scale. On a family scale, on a tribal scale. That is what the human brain evolved to expect. To care for and cooperate with people in their immediate social group. With people that were, for the most part, "equal" to them, people that looked like them and had many other things in common. People are tribal.

The problem is(I think of it as a glitch) when people try to extend these instincts and put those emotions in action on a national scale. Lets say, on 300 MILLION people. Then, it becomes impossible to have pure socialism or communism. Too many different "tribes", too many different cultures, too many different ideologies, too many different wants and needs, too much to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Which is why it all falls apart quickly. It takes a whole lot of coercion in order to force people to comply. This is the real reason in a lot of cases they end up with dictators killing so many people. Individuals not complying end up being seen as an obstacle in the way of the utopia around the corner. And it is justified for the "greater good." For the greater good countless people must be sacrificed since individualism is seen as being selfish and greedy.

the only way that true communism -the way is was thought out in its most truest and beneficial ways- the only way it could actually have a change of working would be if the whole world became communized, but as long as there is other political or religious systems around to affect its course, it can not work.

It can work for a small group of people.

yeah but even then, it would only be short lived., that's how it started with true communism ~> the "commune" a.k.a. La Comunidad (The Community)., the communes where originally said to have been started by the Jewish people., some say that it was the first "Christian" communities that worked that way., nevertheless, it was all short lived, because like i mentioned before, if you got "other systems" around you, it just can not work to perfection!

Work in what way as a social or economic system?  Even this is a misleading question depending on your ultimate goal.  What's the difference between Communism, Authoritarianism or Facism?  Governance is governance no matter what you call it.

I guess it depends on what is considered "working"?

the main difference between State Communism and Fascism is fascism is thought of to be an authoritarian state that allows for private ownership over the means of production but still all private businesses are regulated by the state. Fascism also has a different flavor than communism which is thought to be a more patriotic state with a bigger reliance on militarism to try to expand economically.

Whereas communism is thought of as a Left flavor with the goal of equal outcomes for all and building the marxist utopia.
But winds up also being an authoritarian state due to the fact that the entire plan can't work due to human nature and the calculation problem.

"human nature" <~ that is the whole sole reason why no type of system or non-system will ever work! PERIOD!
