Redlands slaying

REDLANDS >> Police arrested a man they suspect in the slaying of a 17-year-old Redlands boy late Wednesday night.

Erlindo Junior Rodriguez, 34, of Redlands was taken into custody after police questioned him about the slaying of East Valley High School student, Marcus Green, according to police officials.

Green was found lying in an alley unresponsive, with upper body trauma shortly after 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Post Street in Redlands. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Redlands Fire Department, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.

Officers responded after someone reported a shooting, according to Lt. Mike Reiss. When officers arrived they were told a car was involved, but police aren’t elaborating on that.

Further details about the case are being withheld pending investigation.

Yeah sounds bad on the surface but I don't know the situation or circumstance /story behind it..

Dude killed a minor he might end up getting a good beating once the nature of the crime surfaces where ever he is locked up. Especially if he is running south sider..

Apparently, the kid who was killed was trespassing. The dude who shot him was a medical marijuana recipient and had been growing in his backyard. The kid noticed this and jumped his fence to steal some of it, that's when the home owner shot him. Justified from my point of view, not murder.

He might be In trouble by law though since this isn't Texas, I don't think you can legally shoot someone for treaspassing in your yard.
