I was in South Ridge today, near Canyon Crest elementary and was a bit surprised to see vHHS hit up on some of the walls. I thought they left the area years ago?

They left for a while and were mainly west Fontana but I guess they still got some members in SouthRidge too.
They seem more scattered lately.

I'll be there a few more times over the next week. They're still here I guess, very lowkey. But they're wall banging in South Ridge still, that's for sure. They're wall banging on a wall next to the Farmer Boys off Slover/Cherry. SF crossed out and HHS hit up. 

South Ridge is an interesting area to say the least. It's strange. It's a mix of older/lower income tract homes with a slight barrio feel to it. The area has to be at least 90% hispanic or more as well. I'll see if I have time to snap a few pics of the wall banging.

I agree partially.

For one, gangs around here tend to claim a much larger territory than they actually have. So they write all over town to show its all theirs. And secondly, all gangs traditionally have got out their way to hit up in rival territory.
HHS likes to hit up SouthRidge to diss SF TFK.

And I've been seeing SF TFK hit up by cedar and foothill a lot now which is basically Rialto.

Thats why there isnt actual lines drawn as far as turf. All the gangs just say we run the whole city. I feel its an ie thang.

Ull have dudes from different hoods all living on the same blok. Or ull jave enemy sets living next door to each other. I've seen dudes kikn it with rivals. Its weird shit.

It's like that in a lot of places. Gangs tend to try claiming large areas or exaggerating their turf size.
I've been working hard in trying to map out hoods all over Both I.E. And LA.
I've noticed some differences in some ways.
For example, downtown LA/WestLake area, and other densely populated areas like that, some gangs tend to have much smaller turf sizes. And yet are able to maintain those areas boxed in but partially because those streets have more people living in them to sustain recruitment whereas outside places like that gangs spread out a bit more.

Gang members sometimes kick it with rivals do a variety of reasons. When you're dealing with human beings there's always exceptions. Like family or a whole list of other things.
Buying from other hoods has always happened universally.
On top of all that, fools go to jail and prison and end up having to be cool with those that they've been fighting against on the streets and sometimes end up being real tight. Then when they get out it kind of helps lessen the tension between the gangs as more get busted.
It isn't like a movie. People aren't robots. Every individual is different.
Some gang beefs are more hot than others etc.

To touch on the topic at hand though I know in SB right now its 5X going at it tough with damn everybody right now. I been hearing about a lot of issues with them from all the way out here.

Im not saying la vs ie shit. Yea it happens elsewhere but in fontana i dont see that animosity among enemies. The gangs ive noticed hit up like tag crews as though they are just trying to see how many spots they can get up at.
