I visit the Inland Empire a lot but usually i get as far as Rialto and hardly get to see the actual city of San Bernardino. The only gang i ever see up in that area near the San Bernardino metrolink station when i need to get back home is Verdugo Flats (VF) all over the walls on Mt. Vernon towards the station.

Out here in L.A. shit get's started when it comes to drugs (East Coast Crip Vs. Florencia X3), or stupid shit like a black guy dating a Latino chick from opposite gangs (R20's Bloods Vs. East Side X3). Some rivalries are never known why they are started like most Bloods out here that pretty much hate all the 18 Street gangs in L.A., and in Compton and Long Beach, it's all races versus all races.

Verdugo Flats is nestled in the area just outside of the Metro Link. Mt.vernon is the main street that runs through there turf which is arguably the largest of any hood in San Bernardino. (Although the real heart of it is situated just a few blocks South of the Station Bellview, Congress, Pear, etc...) There also one of the most if not the MOST notoriously racist gang in San Bernardino. Even more than Westside varrios. Tensions have always ran hot with innocent blacks who live in the area, and I have stories for days about folks who I personally know been attacked over there just for being black, even though there is a few black families not bangers who live all through out the Flats.

As for racial tensions as a whole in the city, the Westside which is just over the Mt.vernon bridge above the Flats is where most of the tension has always been. Besides a short time period in the 90's when there was gun play and killing which was racial since then its calmed down considerably but that fire that seems to be somewhat out looks to be started over something petty once again.

Man I'd sound biased and seem like a liar if I told one hood certain hood has there turf on lock. Because the truth of the matter is that everyone on the West has there hood on lock. No the heavy presence they once had in each spot is not like it once was before all the injunctions and the structures are not as strong, but everyone from the ese's and black hood still hold there hood strong never allowing any type of gain to nobody.

Similiar to Watts. The crips and bloods outnumber the varrios but like i said in another thread, we are all neutral depending on what side of the tracks you live in.

I don't know about Compton & Long Beach but i sure as hell know for sure that they all have a racial thing going on.

Same in Harbor City.

On the Westside its somewhat of racial divide as well. The The ese's are all east of Mt.vernon, with the blacks mainly functioning on the West of Mt.vernon.

The Delmanns is all over the city now especially on the Eastside the injunctions managed all that. Scattered niggas from the hood all over and up to the high desert and Vegas now as well. DH is definatley one of the largest if not the largest. The 5X and the Projects is also honorable mentions.

There's still a big black presence on the Westside in any hood. Its not like it was lets say 20 years ago, there's also Latinos there where not there before but overall I would yes there still is alot.

The flats was the only area Mexicans could live in at the time and they had this little group called the Vino gang which fought against the white boys and Italians that used to raid they neighborhood from Squaw Flats which is the area that the National Orange Show grounds is on now. The area around 5th and Mt. Vernon where MVR and 7th Street are was the Italian neighborhood but the Italians began to move out after the railroad expanded and took a big chunk of the houses out for the Santa Fe shops.

I don't know a few tidbits of that info are legit according to some of the history I have read on the city (the piece about the Santa Fe Depot taking out alot of the housing in the area.
